Spoiler Post
We received a great suggestion to post cut spoilers for the upcoming plot, so here they are. This reveals the blow by blow with our current projected dates, but please remember, do not discuss this without adequate spoiler warnings so that people who want to be surprised can stay surprised.
For a more general outline, the calendar has been updated for October, with the important dates noted. No plot information at all is on the calendar, so it's available for everyone. The one line summary that was released earlier in a news post is as follows: A large, game-wide plot involving a massive political shift in the city government, accompanied by a large attacking force that the player characters must assist in fending off.
In non-spoiler news, we are almost done (finally!) setting up our NPC accounts, and we strongly encourage everyone to use their IC inboxes as we start playing around with plots. We are eager to involve PCs in the game wide plots, and interaction with the NPCs is one easy, natural way to do that.
Oct 2 - 6: Lorriswarkin, the current Speaker, comes down with the virus and ultimately dies. Xiuhtonal makes IC network posts to announce it.
Oct. 6 - 13: There is total chaos in the city and the local Kra'shak tribe mentioned from the earlier quest plan to invade. A'aladash, the police chief, makes an IC network post trying to mobilize the PCs to stop the invasion.
Oct. 14 - 20: The city is under siege. PCs help fight them off. At the end, Aala makes another IC post, asking for more permanent police volunteers.
Oct. 21: Yakisha, also from an earlier quest, pushes through an emergency vote and gets named interim Speaker. Order is more or less restored. There will be a network news feed of Yakisha's acceptance speech, outlining her plans for Darstone.
November Preview: The anti-PC sentiment is growing, and some locals start to get uncomfortable with recent politics.
