Hello! My name's Brandy, and I'm bringing Tony Stark to the game. He's from Marvel's cinematic universe, and I'll be playing him post-Avengers. He can be an insensitive, abrasive ass when he wants to be, which unfortunately is a lot of the time, so I just want to apologize for him now. He's rooming with Riku and John Egbert; all of my sympathy guys. He keeps weird, insomniac hours but he's at least somewhat considerate usually and will try to keep the noise down
I'm on plurk at
romancandle, and PMing this journal works too. Please don't hesitate to hit me up to plot or chat or anything else. I'm excited to be here and I'm looking forward to playing with all of you!

I do have one question-- how do you feel about fourth walling? It's pretty plausible that Willow would recognize him from the comic version, though she wouldn't know any real details or anything, just who he is. I'm happy to go either way on this.
Oh, and I sent you a friend request on plurk, if that's alright.

Sure, I'm cool with Willow talking to him about comic Tony. He'll probably be thrilled to know people make comics about him, even if they get the details wrong. (Although he would get a kick out of hearing that Pepper married Happy.)
Great! I added you back!

Sadly she won't know all that much, I think, just the basics. It's her best friend that's into comics, not her-- she just knows enough to make pop culture references. But she'll be kind of flustered to meet anyone that counts as a real superhero after feeling like a pretend sidekick for so long, so it'll be funny. I'll try not to let her feed his ego too much, but no promises. ;)

They can commiserate on the sidekick thing. Compared to Captain America, the Hulk, and actual superheroes, Tony feels like a sidekick sometimes too. Or he could introduce her to JARVIS! He IS a sidekick.

There's definitely going to be some fangirling of JARVIS. Geeky fangirling. They can commiserate over sidekicking and appreciate each other's jokes-- not very many people get her references here, heh.

It will be awesome! I'm looking forward to it!

but no i'm looking forward to the stupid domestic things, like steve writing really passive-aggressive post-its on the communal washing machine when people don't take their damn clothes out for a day.
or like sticking his head out the window with his phone against his ear when explosions go off upstairs....

This is going to be so much fun.
And Tony will try not to be too much of a handful. It should only take about half a dozen "KEEP IT DOWN UP THERE"s before he learns.
no subject
no he should just yell back that he's working and then steve will be nice
and buy him some groceries so he doesn't starve

tony should accidentally dye all his socks pink...
no subject
He probably will. Because seriously, he has to do his own laundry? Really?????
no subject
didn't think so!!
i wanted to offer steve doing their laundry together to save two trips but that sounds so fucking married

Tony would be like, okay, sure, great! No remorse or guilt whatsoever.

insanekicked-puppysomething, Loki. I've taken him pre-Avengers, so he's not absolutely bat-shit insane... but pretty crazy, anyways.Feel free to add me on plurk or send me an AIM message (though let me know ahead of time) if you want to plot or such!

I don't use AIM that much, but I will definitely add you on plurk!

...Now with the real journal.
Hi Brandy, I'm Myth and I play Riku here. Riku's from the Kingdom Hearts collective and particularly Dream Drop Distance. Tony is therefore welcome to discover the joys of having Dream Eaters underfoot, since Riku probably lets them run amok in the room. >.> John doesn't seem to mind, at least. Dream Eaters are.... like pokemon, basically, and range from cute and fluffy (sheep dreameater, casts sleep spells, natch) to huge and ferocious (T-rex, likes to squish things). Personality-wise, Riku doesn't take crap and will snark back, but he's overall pretty chill with a protective streak that goes for miles.
I have nothing appropriate for meeting
genius-billionaire-philanthrophist-bastardsTony so.
