OOC ANNOUNCEMENTS
» January 1st will be our second activity check. Requirements are going to be pretty lax. If your character was accepted after December 1st than all you'll have to do is say you're there and want to play. If your character has been in the game since before December 1st we will want to see two proofs of activity. This will be either a thread in someone else's post of at least five of your comments or a post of your own in the network or log comms.
» Shady is going to be on hiatus from now to January 5th do to lack of internet connection. This means most mod duties will have to be handled by Charles. If you absolutely need Shady for something let Charles, Junebug, or Bird know, as they have an alternative contact method for Shady.
» December 1st saw our second HMD Meme. Not many people posted to it, but your comments are still appreciated. The next HMD Meme will be on February 1st, but if you have any comments that you want to get out early, you can message the Mod Contact Page.
» The Google Docs received some massive updates recently. New additions concerns the names, gender, race, and position of ALL eighteen council members; information on the society of the four races of Darstone; and a little on the reproduction. As always, we encourage you to add notes and information to the Google Docs! These can be things mentioned in thread or things you just thought up while thinking about Lost Realm. Additionally, any questions you have on any specific race or NPC can be discussed in the google docs'.
IC EVENTS
» The-Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Plot is on going. This plot concerns Yakisha's role as Interim Speaker. Current plot specific events that are game wide include: the Outsider-Security-Spheres and the new ban on PCs in government buildings, including the hospital! Your help in getting Yakisha out of office will appreciated by all PCs now and in the future. Please participate!
» Yakisha posted a little while ago to tell everyone of the new law in place regarding player characters.
PLAYER PLOTS
» Loki has a Apple Stand which is causing interesting effects on the language centers of those who eat his apples.
» Ta'avakhra has been hard at work investigating the Outsider Security Spheres. The Quest is still open for more volunteers.
» England has found some proof of Yakisha's corruption and posted it on the network. He'll be going to jail soon for his own protection under the pretense of being out of the PC quarantine zone.
QUESTS
» There are plenty of Quests still open for players to take care of. Rewards range from the "worthless" to solid Guilder (the monetary unit of Darstone). If your character is strapped for cash or just looking for something to do, feel free to answer a quest.
» Don’t forget that characters can offer quests directly. If your character wants to offer a reward for a task or needs help with something, feel free to offer a quest.
Please remember if your character did something noteworthy or something all player characters should know about or would be announced in an IC newspaper (including getting married and having a baby), please mention it on the News Gathering Post. Anything can be posted in the news from the mundane to the extraordinary.
