This meme is taking place in the setting of Darstone, so while you may leave your comment blank, I'd like to recommend you set up a scene or two in your initial comment. Some suggested settings are provided below, but make up whatever you'd like based off the setting pages!

⑴ Marketplace. There's a lot to do in the market-- not just buying goods and window shopping, but sitting down for a cup of coffee at an outdoor table, or getting a drink at a bar.

⑵ Housing. You've just gotten here and finally made it to your assigned apartment, but it turns out you have roommates, and they're one of them.

⑶ Adventuring. Whether out into the surrounding caves or taking a boat onto the lake, you're adventuring, maybe on a quest. Whoever's with you might be a member of your party-- or they might be trying to beat you to the reward.

⑷ Snow. What's snow doing in a cave? Isn't this weird? Well, Darstone is situated under a frosty mountain peak, and from time to time the local mages like to simulate the weather that's going on up above. That means there's some very light, fluffy snow falling from the cave ceiling right now.

[Disciple can't help but laugh merrily to see the girl playing in the snow - she might not be a species the oliveblood is familiar with, but some things translate beyond species and her delight in playing is obvious for anyone to see. It's good to see someone having fun.]

[Another thing Roxy was getting used to was all of the actual face-to-face interactions, especially from humans and non-humans alike. As she continued her merry frolic, she caught wind of the laughter, not thinkin too much of it. It wasn't until she actually caught who was doing all the laughter, that she realized it was from a troll! At this point, she's still a little bit wary of some of the trolls, but in general as long as they aren't the alien overlard sea witch (sic), she'll be alright.

Back on the subject, we have a troll, and she's... laughing? Um, this is certainly bringing her to ask what the dealie-o is.]

Oh, I'm sorry! It just looked like you were having so much fun.

[She holds her hands up in the universal sign for meaning her no harm, offering her what she hopes comes across as a friendly smile. She really isn't sure of what is and isn't acceptable among other species yet! This place was quite strange to adapt to.]

[Oh! Good, she doesn't mean harm, awesome. That's what Roxy enjoys seeing. Even though she does still hold a sliiiight bit of caution, whatever she's showing she seems okay.]

Oh, yeah! Yeah 'm havin' fug--fun. I never really enjoyed the snow back home, soooo, I'm trying to now, haha.

[Whoa girl, can you tone down the slurring for just a little bit.]

I spent more time in the desert than the snow back home! But it does look like you're enjoying yourself - you're sure you're not feeling too cold though, are you?

[She sounds a bit concerned, putting the slurring down to the temperature rather than...other causes.]

Whoa really? [She blinks a few times, because wow desert and snow, that's actually really interesting. Her planet's kinda cool from the sounsd of it.]

Annnd, yeah, I am. I'm a lil' cold, but it isn't gonna stop me! [She was getting pretty cold actually. Girl's stupid and running out here in a shirt with no shoulders and a skirt on, goodness.]

Yes, really! Although it gets horribly hot. I prefer the forests to anything else. [Oh, Roxy, if only you knew...

But Di isn't one to let a comment like that go by, or a girl who couldn't be much older than seven sweeps run around freezing in the snow. She sighs and shrugs her small travelling pack off of her back, untying the small cloak attached to it and offering it over.] Here. It's worn but clean, and it'll stop you getting much colder.

Fuck, I bet anythin' would beat where me and my friend lived. Nothin' but water as far as the eyes can see. [Sob. The girl watches Di grab the cloak from her pack with a small tilt of her head. Before she was handing it over, the girl absentmindedly crossed her arms from the cold.

She stares at the gift, and stares...
And...
Oh wait.

It was then that Roxy realized that she was giving her the cloak, and she hesitantly took it... She wasn't used to getting gifts like that in person.]

I--wow, thank you. Um, are--are you sure you don't need this or anythin'?

[In which she actually puts it on, examining how it looks on herself.]

[Di shudders a little, the thought of nothing but water being deeply unsettling to her on an instinctive level. Yes, she think even Alternia would come off ahead next to whatever world this girl comes from.]

I'm sure, you look like you need it more than I do. [No, she's not sure she won't need it, but she is completely sure she'd rather Roxy have it instead. Di knows how to make do and survive, and she doesn't want to see another wiggler go cold, troll or not.]
