For those of you who don't know he's a kind of stoic sometimes insightful occasionally a dumbass and a pretty strong (and fairly indestructable) practitioner of the three sword style. He's usually up for a challenge and if not that a beer and has an unbelievable sense of direction.

We can always use the ridiculous physics of video games and anime where special circumstances allow them to fight without lasers slicing through metal. SHEER BRUTE STRENGTH AND WILLPOWER COURSES THROUGH THEM SWORDS, THEY CAN WITHSTAND IT!

Ooor he can always use the flat of the sword to reflect the laser which would require quick thinking and skill or maybe I'm thinking too hard about it.

And yes. If you want to make a deal with Nami, go right ahead. Though if you end up enslaved to that witch, don't say I didn't tell you so.

It is not that kind of laser, I don't think... but like, idk, i never really thought too hard about it myself :Ua Just a variation of the light saber is how I think of it.
