OOC ANNOUNCEMENTS
» Our first HMD was quiet, but successful. Thanks to everyone who participated!
» As previously mentioned, November 1st will see our first activity check. Mostly we are intending to sweep out any characters that were applied for and never played, or haven't done any threads at all in the preceding month, which will be in this case October.
» The CR Meme is still ongoing. Please don’t forget to check back to see who might have started new threads.
IC EVENTS
» The October Event has begun! A few days ago, we learned that the Speaker had tragically fallen ill, and today he finally passed away.
» Over the next week, there will be chaos in the city-- nothing legal is getting processed, the Council has descended into angry shouting, and people are putting themselves forward as the new Speaker right and left. The police are working overtime, and crime is running rampant, with political graffiti going up everywhere and stores being broken into. It's a crazy, hectic time, and something will have to give...
» Please consult the Calendar for when the next developments in this plot will happen. The next part will definitely involve solicitation of character involvement, later this week. If you need more details, consult the Spoiler Post that went up last month.
PLAYER PLOTS
» Haruki took on a quest to head a diplomatic mission to the Krasp’rek Tribe, a tribe of Kra’shak that isn’t too pleased with Darstone in general. You can read all about it here, where Haruki-mun has done a lot of work fleshing out this NPC tribe. We recommend at least glancing over this, at it is backstory to the ongoing plot. (As a note, if you are interested in fleshing out some aspect of this world like this, please approach the mods. We’re happy to hear from you!)
NEW QUESTS
» A couple of new quests have gone up just today! One NPC is looking for Massage Therapists, while another wants someone more adventurous to take a trip through time. Several more are listed on the quest board -- the newest quests are always on the bottom of the list.
» Don’t forget that characters can offer quests directly. If your character wants to offer a reward for a task or needs help with something, feel free to offer a quest.
