This meme is taking place in the setting of Darstone, so while you may leave your comment blank, I'd like to recommend you set up a scene or two in your initial comment. Some suggested settings are provided below, but make up whatever you'd like based off the setting pages! ⑴ Marketplace. There's a lot to do in the market-- not just buying goods and window shopping, but sitting down for a cup of coffee at an outdoor table, or getting a drink at a bar. ⑵ Housing. You've just gotten here and finally made it to your assigned apartment, but it turns out you have roommates, and they're one of them. ⑶ Adventuring. Whether out into the surrounding caves or taking a boat onto the lake, you're adventuring, maybe on a quest. Whoever's with you might be a member of your party-- or they might be trying to beat you to the reward. ⑷ Snow. What's snow doing in a cave? Isn't this weird? Well, Darstone is situated under a frosty mountain peak, and from time to time the local mages like to simulate the weather that's going on up above. That means there's some very light, fluffy snow falling from the cave ceiling right now.

Anything, really! What kind of things did he teach you, and where did you both live - in the mountains? What's it like there?

Yeah. Way up. He taught me all I gotta have my understand on at for surviving there. Taught me the best ways to get my climb on, where to put my hooves and shit so I ain't go and crack my nug against some fuckin' rock.

It sounds like you have a wonderful lusus. [She smiles, soft and approving, and a bit nostalgic as well for her own dear lusus, the comfort of her warm soft fur when Di was barely past pupation.]

[The old goat is pretty wonderful. Gamzee has good memories hiding in his huge goat-beard, letting the white fur hang about him like a curtain.]

Mine...she taught me to hunt, to stalk and stay in the shadows, to defend myself so I wouldn't become something else's prey. We'd hide in the caves during the day and keep each other safe and warm, and she'd wake me up in the evening with food. [She smiles softly as some of the memories fade in a little more, being burrowed deep in soft white fur, her face being roughly licked as she's groomed.]
