This meme is taking place in the setting of Darstone, so while you may leave your comment blank, I'd like to recommend you set up a scene or two in your initial comment. Some suggested settings are provided below, but make up whatever you'd like based off the setting pages! ⑴ Job Hunting. If you don't want to stay in the assigned housing, then you're going to need cash, and if you want cash, you're going to need a job- lucky for you there seem to be plenty of those on the job board. ⑵ Arriving/Housing. You've just gotten here and finally made it to your assigned apartment, but it turns out you have roommates, and they're one of them. ⑶ Adventuring. Whether out into the surrounding caves or taking a boat onto the lake, you're adventuring, maybe on a quest. Whoever's with you might be a member of your party-- or they might be trying to beat you to the reward.

[There's a pair of long legs dangling off a counter in the kitchen, and attached to them is Alice, sipping daintily at a mug of coffee.]

Though I will admit, this is far more interesting than what I was expecting at the end of my day.

[He blinks slowly once, then walks over to the table between then, setting his things down on the table. Then, conversationally:]

Yes, quite. I'm sure none of us were expecting such an abrupt disturbance in our utterly boring schedules.

My schedule had already been very thoroughly disrupted. What is one more inconvenience?

[The Asura-6 is settled beneath one heeled foot, but she simply inclines her head toward the other side of the counter where the coffeemaker rests.]

Care for a cup?

[Yes, he's been eyeing that weapon quite intently for a few seconds. But then he just sighs heavily, removing one glove and shoving it into his jacket pocket.]

Sure, I'll have a spot of that then, why not? [He briskly moves around the counter towards the coffeemaker, fully intent on pouring one for himself.] I'm Henry, by the way.

[If she notices his stare, she doesn't bring it up. Instead she simply nudges the cabinet behind her shoulder open with a hum.]

Sugar is up here.

[He pours himself a mug about half way, then sort of. Just. Turns towards her, looking up at the cabinet then just simply reaching up around her to grab a few packets of brown sugar.]

I take it you are my assigned roommate, Alice.

One of them, yes.

[She sips her own coffee idly, eyes following his movements almost lazily. She waits until he's got what he needs before leaning backward, pushing the cabinet closed as she does and making another pensive sound.]
