Test Drive Meme v.2
![]() |
Comment here with your characters that you're thinking of bringing into LR, and tag around with other people to see how suitable they'd be for the game! This meme is taking place in the setting of Darstone, so while you may leave your comment blank, I'd like to recommend you set up a scene or two in your initial comment. Some suggested settings are provided below, but make up whatever you'd like based off the setting pages! ⑴ Job Hunting. If you don't want to stay in the assigned housing, then you're going to need cash, and if you want cash, you're going to need a job- lucky for you there seem to be plenty of those on the job board. ⑵ Arriving/Housing. You've just gotten here and finally made it to your assigned apartment, but it turns out you have roommates, and they're one of them. ⑶ Adventuring. Whether out into the surrounding caves or taking a boat onto the lake, you're adventuring, maybe on a quest. Whoever's with you might be a member of your party-- or they might be trying to beat you to the reward. |

He clutches at the ring he wears on a chain under his shirt, just to make sure it's still there, and once assured of that goes over to the door with an encouraging smile. ]
Sure, Red. We all go a little pan-rotted sometimes. Can't live with family, can't live without 'em, right?
[ He slips out of the door, closing it quietly behind him, and shoves his hands into his pockets. ]
So, where are headed for this fun little jaunt? Please say there are no giant crabs involved, because I'm having a nice day for once and I'd hate to break that little winning streak. I've had enough of giant crabs to last me several lifetimes.

There are no crabs, I promise, [she says promptly, backing up to give him space before turning for the stairs.] I thought we could head to the library? I need to return some books, and I wanted to get the next in my series of exceedingly long-winded treatises on magical theory.
Also it helps prevent the, um, aforementioned pan-rotting. Not that I don't like everyone, [she goes on quickly, her nervousness making her sentences get longer and longer,] I'm just... getting used to everything.
